Cattlemen's Restaurant - 555 Highway 395 North (about halfway between South Reno and Carson City). Great steaks and excellent service in an old-time "country" atmosphere. Huge selection of specialty drinks, and your salad plus warm bread are served at the table. The wide variety of steak preparations and seafood combos makes this a great choice for visitors to the Reno hotels for under $30 / person. The steak quality was great and the preparation was flawless. Don't miss Cattlemen's Restaurant on your next visit to Reno. It's in a "hidden" location that makes you feel like you're on a ranch! Cattlemen's is a California / West Coast smaller chain of steakhouses -- but don't hold that success against them!

Harrah's Steakhouse - Downtown Reno Hotel - Harrah's Steakhouse is a legend in Reno for it's excellent service and awesome food quality for many, many years. The old-time formal atmosphere, hidden away in the Harrah's basement makes it like a secret hideaway for great meals. A variety of the meals are served "flaming" at your table, and the steak quality is some of the best anywhere. Highly recommended for around $60-$75 / person. Harrah's Steakhouse is a long-time recipient of the highly sought-after AAA "4 Diamond" Award as an indication of their restaurant's food and service.
